A dedicated group of Calgarians from the Scottish community has come together with a shared purpose—to herald the return of the Highland Games to our city.

In partnership with Spruce Meadows, we are proud to present The Spruce Meadows Tattoo, taking place during the renowned North American Tournament on the weekend of July 4 & 5. This landmark collaboration marks the beginning of a renewed celebration of Scottish culture in Calgary.

Running alongside this event, the Calgary Celtic Festival will bring together piping and drumming, Highland dance, athletics, and clan heritage in a vibrant showcase of tradition and community spirit.

We have also invited the Calgary Irish community to add colour, light and music to make this a truly Celtic event.This festival serves as the first step toward a larger vision—the full return of The Calgary Highland Games in 2027.
